Short Music Bio
I’ve been playing guitar since I was 12 years old. I have retired from the sales world and have been teaching acoustic and electric guitar full time for the last 10 years. Over the years I have studied hard rock, country, classic rock, heavy metal, folk and blues rock. In the last few years I have really been listening and playing old acoustic blues from the early to mid 1900s. My number one influence all time is Eric Clapton. Other guitar influences include Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Joe Satriani, Jimi Page, Robert Johnson, John Denver and Stevie Ray Vaughan just to name a few.

I am a strong believer that everyone should have music in their life. That's why I became a teacher. Whether you're a just a beginner or an advanced student needing guidance, let's explore music together! The most fun I have is seeing results from a student in a very short time and they tell me they never thought they could learn a song, solo, or piece of music so quickly.
My Classes
Students will learn a balance of music theory and playing the songs they enjoy. All students have different goals they want to achieve with their instrument. Whether it‘s learning to strum chords or fingerpick an acoustic guitar, or cranking up an amp jamming out power chords and wailing guitar solos, lessons are tailored to the student‘s own taste in music and geared toward what they want to learn and play on their guitar,
